Natalie Muccioli Emery, BHA, RDH (Educator)

Ensuring access to dental hygiene services for vulnerable populations is a professional and personal priority for Natalie.

After 13 years in private dental practice she made the difficult, but necessary decision to pursue her passion in adult education and oral health promotion and community advocacy. Natalie believes this is where her knowledge and expertise would have the most significant impact on the future of dental hygiene and Canada’s vulnerable populations.

Natalie earned a Bachelor of Health Administration with distinction from Ryerson University. Her experience at Ryerson provided her with foundational knowledge in research and understanding the structure of Canada’s health care policies.

She has enhanced her learning through selection of professionally related courses in gerontology and disability studies to learn more about these demographics who encounter barriers accessing dental hygiene services.

Natalie is an award-winning writer, passionate dental hygiene educator and proud member of the Gift from the Heart Charity. Natalie hopes for a future where ALL Canadians will have access to oral health care for better overall health outcomes.
